ADTEK at CIOE 2026: Strong Visitor Engagement Highlights Growing Demand for Optical Connectivity

CIOE 2026 has come to a close, bringing three busy days of industry exchange, technology demonstrations, and customer discussions to Shenzhen.

For ADTEK, the exhibition was marked by strong visitor traffic throughout the three days. From the opening of the exhibition to the final day, our booth welcomed a continuous flow of customers, industry professionals, partners, and technology enthusiasts. The busy atmosphere around the booth reflected the growing attention being placed on optical connectivity as AI computing, data center infrastructure, and high-speed networks continue to evolve.

The exhibition also provided an opportunity for ADTEK to present several representative solutions covering high-density fiber connectivity, AI data center infrastructure, optical cross-connects, and next-generation fiber technologies.

A Busy Booth from Opening to Closing

Throughout CIOE 2026, visitors continued to stop at the ADTEK booth to learn more about our optical connectivity solutions and discuss their application requirements.

Many of the conversations focused on a common challenge: as AI and high-performance computing environments become increasingly dense, optical connectivity must evolve alongside them.

Higher bandwidth, tighter rack layouts, growing fiber counts, and increasingly complex architectures are placing new demands on fiber management and optical interconnect systems.

The strong visitor flow at ADTEK’s booth gave our team the opportunity to discuss these challenges directly with customers and industry professionals from different application fields.

More importantly, many discussions moved beyond individual products toward broader questions around how optical connectivity should be designed for the next generation of AI infrastructure.

High-Density Connectivity for AI Data Centers

One of the key products showcased by ADTEK was our HD Density Cable Assemblies, developed for high-density optical connectivity environments.

As the number of optical links inside AI and data center systems continues to increase, cable management becomes an increasingly important part of overall infrastructure design. High-density deployments need to accommodate more connections within limited rack and equipment space while maintaining practical installation and management.

ADTEK’s high-density cable assemblies are designed around this requirement, providing a connectivity approach for dense optical interconnect environments.

The product attracted considerable attention from visitors interested in AI data center connectivity, particularly where increasing fiber counts are creating new challenges for cabling organization, space utilization, and deployment efficiency.

For ADTEK, this reflects a broader focus on helping customers build optical infrastructure that can scale with increasingly demanding computing environments.

Connecting Optical Infrastructure with Modular GPU Architectures

Another highlighted solution was MGX Modular GPU Infrastructure, representing ADTEK’s focus on connectivity for AI and GPU-based computing environments.

AI infrastructure is becoming more modular and increasingly interconnected. GPU resources, network fabrics, storage systems, and optical connectivity must work together as part of a larger architecture rather than as isolated components.

This creates new requirements for flexible and scalable connectivity.

At CIOE 2026, the MGX solution attracted attention from visitors looking at the optical infrastructure challenges surrounding modular GPU systems and high-performance computing deployments.

Rather than focusing only on the fiber cable itself, the discussion increasingly centered on how connectivity can be integrated into the overall infrastructure architecture to support future expansion and easier deployment.

Infinity Shuffle OXC: Rethinking Optical Connectivity in Dense Networks

Among the solutions presented at the exhibition, Infinity Shuffle OXC was another important highlight.

As AI and hyperscale data centers continue to scale, traditional fixed fiber cabling can become difficult to manage when network architectures, PCB layouts, and component positions change. Manual patching can also add operational complexity as the number of optical connections grows.

ADTEK’s Infinity Shuffle OXC is designed as a modular, high-density optical cross-connect solution for this type of environment.

The system supports flexible deployment configurations and can be provided in a 0RU inline configuration, helping reduce the amount of rack space required for optical connectivity. It also supports major connectivity formats including MPO, MTP, MMC, and SN-MT. According to ADTEK’s product specifications, the solution is manufactured through an automated process and targets low optical insertion loss, with a guaranteed IL of less than 0.3 dB.

What drew interest from visitors was not simply the optical cross-connect itself, but the idea of using a more modular and organized approach to deal with the rapidly increasing complexity of AI network fabrics.

Optical Backplane and the Evolution of AI Connectivity

ADTEK also presented its Optical Backplane for AI Infrastructure, highlighting another direction in the evolution of optical interconnect technology.

As data rates and system bandwidth continue to increase, optical connectivity is moving closer to the core architecture of computing systems.

This trend raises new questions about how optical links should be positioned, routed, and integrated within future AI infrastructure.

The optical backplane concept reflects this shift, where connectivity is considered as an architectural element rather than simply a collection of external cables and patching components.

The discussions around this solution at CIOE 2026 showed strong interest in the future relationship between optical connectivity and AI system architecture.

Looking Beyond Conventional Fiber

Alongside AI data center connectivity, ADTEK also showcased technologies addressing the longer-term evolution of optical transmission.

Multi-Core Fiber (MCF) and Hollow-Core Fiber (HCF) attracted attention as representatives of next-generation fiber technologies being explored for future high-capacity optical networks.

As conventional single-core fiber infrastructure continues to face growing capacity and density requirements, alternative fiber designs are gaining greater interest across the industry.

At CIOE 2026, these technologies generated discussions around future transmission architectures, fiber density, optical performance, and how next-generation fiber could eventually be integrated into broader connectivity ecosystems.

Three Days of Conversations, One Clear Direction

The most memorable part of CIOE 2026 was not simply the number of products on display, but the level of interaction surrounding them.

With visitors continuously moving through the exhibition halls and strong traffic around ADTEK’s booth, the event provided a clear opportunity to understand what customers and industry professionals are currently looking for.

Across discussions about AI data centers, high-density cabling, optical cross-connects, GPU infrastructure, and next-generation fiber, one direction was particularly clear:

Optical connectivity is becoming an increasingly important part of the architecture behind next-generation digital infrastructure.

As computing density and bandwidth requirements continue to rise, connectivity solutions will need to become not only faster, but also denser, more modular, more manageable, and better integrated into the overall system architecture.

Thank You for Visiting ADTEK at CIOE 2026

ADTEK would like to thank all customers, partners, engineers, and industry professionals who visited our booth during CIOE 2026.

The continuous flow of visitors and the many technical discussions throughout the exhibition made this a valuable opportunity for ADTEK to exchange ideas with the industry and better understand the evolving requirements of optical connectivity.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and working with customers and partners to develop optical connectivity solutions for the next generation of AI data centers, high-performance networks, and optical infrastructure.

Thank you for meeting with ADTEK at CIOE 2026. We look forward to seeing you again at the next industry event.
