At 14mm total depth, the OTO-1500 is nearly half the thickness of standard industry faceplates. It fits flush in standard US single-gang electrical boxes with standard 3.25″ CTC screw spacing — no custom wall boxes, no surface-mount bulge, no compromise on interior aesthetics.
1.5m, Zero External Boxes
The integrated planar spool stores 1.5m of 3.0mm drop cable internally — exceeding the TIA-570-D 1m minimum requirement with no external slack management box. The horizontal coil design maintains a 30mm bend radius to protect fiber integrity during storage and MACs.
Technician-Only, Corner-Friendly
The cover removes without tools, even when the terminal is installed in a tight corner. The latching force is calibrated for adult technician access — easy enough for a trained installer to open one-handed while managing cable, yet stiff enough to resist casual opening by children. The base and optical cassette are a single integrated unit; there is no separate base to detach or misalign during wall mounting.
Integrated Safety Shutters
Snap-in ceramic sleeve adapters (zirconia, IL <0.2 dB) include integrated laser safety shutters with red visual indicators. Unused ports stay sealed against dust and accidental laser exposure. Configurable for 2× SC Simplex or 1× LC Duplex.
