How do I choose copper cables and optical cables, and what is the difference between them？
Copper and fiber optic cables are both Ethernet cables. Copper cables transmit electrical signals and fiber optic cables transmit optical signals. Fiber optic cable has more advantages in terms of transmission speed and transmission distance. You can choose according to the current supporting equipment.
Can these be run on the outside of the house?
These cables are only for indoor use, we don’t recommend giving it an outdoor use.
Do these connect like regular ethernet cables?
Not exactly. For network switch, you need to match with optical transceiver. But for adapter product, you can insert into them directly.
Are the connector ends already on?
Yes, this cable is pre-terminated with the connector option you select, be that LC, SC, or a combo.
