Eliminate the costly pre-deployment survey phase. Because BDFB terminals store excess cable on-board, installers do not need to pre-measure drop lengths or coordinate with residents to access interiors for splicing. Mount the terminal, pull the OSP cable, and manage the slack locally. Deploy to the wall first, splice when convenient.

Bring the Slack to Your Workbench

Modular integrated spools provide 8m (S/M) to 30m (L) of cable slack storage. Pull the fiber to your fully-equipped splicing van, perform precision fusion in controlled conditions, then reel back the excess. Faster installs, better splice quality, and happier technicians — especially in harsh weather or difficult-to-access mounting locations.

Outdoor Mount, Indoor Access

The BDFB mounts externally (IP65-rated) while providing protected internal space for splicing and active equipment. Technicians perform MACs and troubleshooting from the outside, eliminating appointment scheduling and access coordination. The building occupant never knows you were there.

The Backplane Principle

Three fixed footprints (Small, Medium, Large), one flexible philosophy. Interchangeable backplanes transform each box for direct splicing, splitter distribution, tap configurations, WiFi AP mounting, or ONT integration. Configure for the application, not the logistics chain.

Three Steps to Survey-Free Service

Step 1: Mount Mount the BDFB terminal on the exterior wall. No resident required. The IP65 enclosure survives facade conditions.

Step 2: Pull & Splice Draw the fiber slack to your van using the integrated spool. Perform precision fusion splicing in controlled conditions, away from the wall.

Step 3: Reel & Close Reel back the excess cable onto the spool. Close the terminal. Service is live without ever knocking on the door.

Single-Family, Zero Contact

Deploy fiber to single homes without scheduling conflicts. Mount the compact S-terminal on the exterior wall during the day. Store 8m of slack on the optional spool, return to the van for precision splicing, and reel back the excess. The homeowner gets service without ever opening the door. Perfect for suburban and rural FTTH where density is low but deployment speed is critical.

MDU Modular Expansion

Serve 8 apartments from one compact terminal without initial overbuild. Start with direct splices for early subscribers, then add the 1:8 splitter backplane as penetration increases — all without replacing the box or disturbing existing connections. The 8m spool accommodates the messy reality of MDU riser distances, allowing you to pull from the main distribution point to the basement terminal, then splice at street level in your van.

Building Distribution & Active Host

Combine fiber distribution and active equipment protection in one IP65 enclosure. The L-series hosts ONTs up to 158×185×40mm with dedicated heat dissipation, eliminating the need for separate active equipment shelters. Use the 30m spool capacity to bridge from the building distribution point to distant entry points, or manage ribbon fiber splicing for high-count backbones.
