The 20th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition (OVC EXPO) has successfully come to an end. Curious about what ADTEK showcased this year? Don’t worry—here’s a closer look at the highlights from our booth.
ADTEK presented a wide range of ATB (Access Terminal Boxes) and FAT (Fiber Access Terminals) designed to bring connectivity all the way from the central office to the end-user’s home.
Flexible deployment: ATB boxes can support ONT connections without technicians entering the home, simplifying both installation and maintenance.
Splicing convenience: Each box includes spare fiber length—up to 30 meters—allowing splicing to be performed remotely, for example inside a service van.
Scalable options: From compact single-dwelling ATBs to larger FAT boxes supporting 8 or 12 outputs with splitters, ADTEK provides modular solutions that adapt to different deployment needs.
Rugged performance: Products are tested to IP58 and GR-771 standards, ensuring durability in harsh outdoor environments. Multiple connector interfaces are available, including UMHA, HEC (Harsh Environment Connector), and IP-rated designs.
With the rise of AI and hyperscale computing, fiber demand inside data centers has grown dramatically. While traditional facilities used 72–144 fiber cables, today’s infrastructures require 288, 576, or even 864-core cables. ADTEK showcased solutions addressing this rapid growth:
High-capacity cables: Flexible micro-tube designs, rollable ribbon cables, and harnessed fiber assemblies to improve manageability.
Parallel optics: MPO connectors supporting 8, 12, 16, and 24 fibers in compact formats, enabling 800G and 1.6T transmission.
Next-generation connectors: Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) interfaces such as MMC, MDC, SN, and SN-MT—offering up to four times the density of MPO, ideal for hyperscale deployments.
To support massive cabling systems, ADTEK introduced a range of high-, ultra-, and extreme-density patch panels:
GPX58: A high-density solution optimized for top-of-rack applications, with tilt and click-pull features for easy patching.
GPX51 & GPX70: Modular ultra-high-density panels, supporting up to 72 ports per RU with flexible tray or cassette systems, offering LC, MPO, and mixed connectivity options.
GPX62: An extreme-density system supporting up to 144 ports per RU with VSFF connectors, combining scalability with user-friendly modularity.
As the industry moves toward co-packaged optics (CPO), fiber management becomes increasingly complex. ADTEK showcased its Infinity Fiber Shuffle, a machine-laid optical flex circuit that optimizes fiber routing within confined spaces.
Ultra-compact: Just 1 mm thick, 100×50 mm in size, capable of handling up to 128 fibers.
Efficient routing: AI-assisted fiber laying minimizes overlaps and ensures precise path management.
Seamless integration: Supports parallel optics (e.g., 4×200G lanes for 800G systems) and advanced multiplexing schemes.
✨ At this year’s OVC EXPO, ADTEK demonstrated how our innovations span the last mile in FTTx all the way to next-generation data centers. From robust outdoor access boxes to ultra-dense fiber shuffle solutions, we continue to design products that enable faster, more scalable, and future-proof optical connectivity.
